Mark Pugh has been promoted from Telford Depot Manager to Sales Director at West Mercia Fork Trucks Ltd, the Midlands largest independent forklift truck company.
Mark joined West Mercia as a Sales Executive in late 2002 and worked out of the firm’s Birmingham Head Office in Oldbury. After a number of years hitting sales targets Mark was promoted to Depot Manager of the company’s Telford branch on Halesfield 9 in Telford in late 2008 and has steadily increased the turnover there until breaking through the million pound turnover barrier earlier this year.
Mark has now moved back to the Oldbury Head Office to take over the mantle of Sales Director and has stated “I am really looking forward to the challenge of being Sales Director of the Company and relish the opportunity of pushing sales forward at both our Oldbury and Telford branches. We are the largest independent forklift truck company in the Midlands and I intend to ensure that we remain number one in the hire, sales and service of forklift trucks through the West Midlands and Shropshire. We have built a reputation built around the service that we offer and I have no intention of letting those standards drop – our customers have a right to expect it!”
