West Mercia Fork Trucks have doubled the size of their Telford operation at Halesfield 9 in Telford.
Having purchased the unit next door they have completely refurbished both the original unit and the new unit to effectively double both their workshop/warehouse space as well as their office space.
Depot Manager, Ben Pugh, said “The purchase of Unit C6 and the amalgamation of the two units has been fantastic for us, giving us lots more space in both the workshops and the offices. With the added benefit of the refurbishment work we now have large modern workshops and clean, spacy offices in which to work. We have already seen the benefit in terms of the amount of forklift trucks we can store in readiness for hire or sale. We can store these extra trucks without encroaching on our Engineer’s working areas so all round it has made us far more efficient”.
West Mercia were already the only forklift truck company in Telford and the largest in Shropshire but this expansion has given them an even bigger presence in the area.
