West Mercia Fork Trucks, the largest supplier of forklift trucks in Shropshire and mid Wales have recently supplied three brand new machines to Newmor Group, the leading supplier of interior products based around Welshpool in Powys.
Newmor Group have three sites in the Welshpool area and originally purchased three new Doosan Daewoo lpg forklift trucks from West Mercia in late 2006. They have recently purchased a further two Doosan G35S-5 for their Buttington Cross site and a Doosan GC45S-5 compact machine for their Henfaes Lane operation.
Newmor Group chose the Doosan GC45S-5 machine because they needed to lift 4,200kg but in a restricted space and the GC45 did the job perfectly. Chris Stephens, Group Financial Director of Newmor Group commented:-
We had already previously purchased some Doosan forklift trucks from West Mercia’s Telford operation and were happy with their quality, performance, price and general reliability. The sales team could not have been more helpful in finding the correct trucks for our requirements. We have dealt with West Mercia for some time and have found the after sales service provided excellent so we were more than confident to continue doing business with them.
West Mercia now maintain 11 forklift trucks across Newmor’s three sites.
