West Mercia are proud to announce the sale of a new Royal diesel forklift truck to Coilco of Cannock, Staffordshire, the area’s leading induction furnace service and repair engineers.
Joe Waclawski, a Director of Coilco had been in the market for a new forklift for some time, but the trucks he had been offered by other companies were either not suitable or not within his budget.
Joe commented “I was contacted by Jon Ball of west Mercia regarding the servicing of my material handling fleet, Jon and his Sales Director, Mark Pugh, came to see me and we discussed a repair I’d like carried out to my 5 ton truck. We then discussed the truck I was hiring. I mentioned that I’d looked into buying a truck, but everything I’d been presented with wasn’t suitable.
Jon and Mark listened to my requirements, and Jon went away and came back with various proposals. They gave me the option of lease purchase, which I hadn’t been offered before, and this made perfect financial sense for us.
With regards to the truck we are more than happy, we have maintained the same weight capacity but the new truck seems to have a much better turning circle and the side shift is going to be invaluable to us. Jon and Mark also advised me on fuel options, and we decided the diesel would be more advantageous to us, both as my other truck is diesel, but most importantly it’s going to save me money.”
