In line with the demands of its fast growing business, WB Timber Innovations Ltd has recently completed relocation to a larger premises – two adjoining units on the Monkspath Business Park, just off the M42 in Solihull.
This relocation necessitated the sourcing of a suitable gas powered counterbalance fork truck for general lifting duties and a specialised fork lift truck for handling larger and more awkward shape loads, such as the spandrel trusses manufactured on site. The company wanted to source high quality second user forklift equipment.
Steven Parkins, Operations Manager for Timber Innovations, had previous dealings with West Mercia’s David Stanley, which prompted him to make contact for supplier consideration.
With the sanction from Directors, Rob Jones and David Himmons, an order was initially placed for a gas powered counterbalance fork truck. This was shortly followed by an order for West Mercia to supply a high specification side loader fork truck with an extra wide loading bed to allow transfer of long loads between the two units, as well as loading/unloading duties.
“It’s even better than we thought it was going to be, it looks almost like new.”
After an extensive workshop preparation programme, the most recently supplied Combilift C4500 side loader was sourced and Steven Parkins was delighted.
