West Mercia Fork Trucks have been our preferred fork truck supplier for over 25 years, during which time the account grew from 1 truck in 1990 to peaking at 7 trucks in 2012.
As a supplier of metal pressings to the Automotive Industry, JIT (just in time) is absolutely paramount and having reliable fork trucks at our disposal gives us great confidence and is a contributing factor in making sure delivery targets are achieved.
It is very reassuring to know that service/breakdown times are extremely efficient and in the unlikely event of a truck being out of action for some time, a temporary replacement truck can be made available to ensure minimal disruption to the functioning of our business.
APS Metal Pressings have recently taken delivery of 3 brand new Doosan forklift trucks all on 5 year hire agreements at the end of which time our working relationship with West Mercia goes beyond 30 years. They like ourselves are a family owned business, that appear to take great pride in customer service and satisfaction, they are very professional, but at the same time they are very friendly and approachable and a pleasure to deal with.
