Four years ago, Dave Pugh, a family member of West Mercia Fork Trucks, a fellow black country family business with a 48 year history, spoke to Jason Stockley about his fork truck hire. Jason commented
‘from the off, being a fellow family business local to us, I got the feeling this could be a fantastic working relationship with Dave Pugh and everyone at West Mercia. I decided to give West Mercia a go with a 3 year hire, as we have never gone for anything above 3 years.’
In March 2020, Dave Pugh contacted Jason, after already renewing his last 3 year agreement, with a newer Doosan truck early in 2017, this time he had an offer for Jason on a brand new Doosan, but on a 6 year term, which Stockley’s had never considered before.
Jason stated
‘we have never gone for anything more than a 3 year contract, but in the last 4 years, we have been blown away by the service West Mercia have provided.’ The Doosan trucks have always been brilliant and efficient, and the service has been outstanding, we had no hesitation, in having a brand new truck on a longer term this time.’
Dave Pugh said
