Leading independent logistics company, Transol Logistics whose head office is in Coventry recently won new lucrative contracts resulting in a revised layout of their main warehouse and racking facility.
West Mercia’s David Stanley liaised with Ross Donnell, Transport Manager, to offer the best solution for their forklift needs.
Ross explained the urgent need to add another suitable diesel, powered fork truck to their fleet in order to meet the high pressure demands for loading and offloading of pallets and products.
Ross and Director, Manish, visited West Mercia’s Coventry depot to view the proposed Hyster, complete with full metal cab to provide operator protection from all weathers. West Mercia delivered the fork truck days later to the delight of Ross and his team. Ross thanked David and West Mercia for the fast turnaround and said the Operators were very happy with the new acquisition.
Less than two weeks later, Ross contacted David asking for yet another fork truck to help meet demands. David proposed Doosan D25S-3. The management team at Transmol made the short journey to West Mercia’s Coventry Depot prior to securing the fork truck. Following West Mercia’s comprehensive workshop programme, the truck was delivered, seen pictured with main operator Colin on board.
As the preferred supplier, West Mercia will now also look after all the fork trucks on site from the West Mercia’s local depot at Binley, Coventry.
